  They don't carry all your top products and shelf stockers must be very lazy as the shelves are often bare

  It's a reasonable grocery store but customer service is terrible. Had an issue with self checkout and there was no staff member assigned to the staff checkout area which appears to handle 80%+ of the checkouts. When an employee starts to head over she stops on her way to have a conversation with another employee, then stops to shift bags from one rack to to the next. When she finally gets to my register, about 5 minutes after I hit the help button, she just clears the help code without asking what the issue is. When I ask her to wait to explain the issue to her she says "what?" in a rude tone. She did resolve the issue but a terrible experience.

  The lady meant to be helping customers at the self check out area was extremely rude. I usually come to stop and shop for the good prices but starting to change my mind. Stop and Shop do better with staff. There’s a Target next door that has cleaner store and much nicer staff. I would rather pay a bit more and leave the store happy than insulted and waste time waiting for angry assistance.
