  The “gentleman” behind the deli counter was rude and openly annoyed with customers who dared to ask for meat and cheese to be sliced just before 7PM. He glared at any customer who would approach the counter and press the button to take a number and curtly stated that he wasn’t taking any other customers’ orders. My father-in-law approached the service counter around the same time, the employee behind the service desk saw him approach and put up the closed sign. The store is supposed to be open until 9PM according to their store front. Customer service in general needs some attention in this store. The Ahold company needs to know that their quality customer service known throughout the eastern part of Massachuetts doesn’t extend into the Berkshires.
