Great food and a cozy atmosphere! The fresh bread and seasonal soups are always a hit, and I love that there are plenty of healthy options on the menu. The staff is friendly and quick, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or coffee catch-up.

Today I had one person in front of me. I used their customer-unfriendly ordering tablet to place my complex order of one single drink and one bakery item. I watched no less than 4 employees with their hands in their pockets do nothing. Absolutely nothing. There was a single employee who helped guests. The others just chatted and watched her run back and forth. Seeing a bunch of guys get paid to do nothing while the one responsible female does all the work is nothing ground-shattering. The fact that 2 of the guys acknowledged me and still didn't help was a bit obscene. This Panera has been deeply disappointing in general. They can't deliver food within the same 2-3 hour window in which it is requested. They short every meal, like a rabid dog got the first shot and the customer gets whatever is leftover...but today was just ridiculous. Go anywhere else. I know we have a town with next to zero options, but this Panera just plain sucks. ...except for that one singular employee. She deserves a better job.

There should be no reason in 2026 after the pandemic that the store can have zero employees minding the register at 11:30 am. in the middle of the week. It's ridiculous. The management can afford to hire more people who are competent enough to do their job

I had a genuinely uncomfortable experience here recently that left a bad impression, and it had nothing to do with the food. While I was inside, the atmosphere behind the counter felt noticeably tense. It did not come across like normal lunch rush stress or a busy shift. The environment felt uncomfortable in a way that was obvious even from the customer side of the counter. What stood out the most was seeing a young employee who looked visibly overwhelmed and on the verge of tears after an interaction near the front. I obviously do not know what had happened beforehand, and I am not going to pretend to know the full situation, but as a customer it was uncomfortable to witness. She looked upset enough that it immediately caught my attention and changed the entire tone of the visit. I understand food service is stressful and everyone can have a rough shift, but there is a difference between a busy environment and one where staff visibly seem distressed. This did not feel like ordinary workplace stress. It felt tense, uncomfortable, and unprofessional enough to be noticeable to customers. I am not naming anyone or trying to attack individual employees, but the overall environment felt poorly handled and left me concerned about how staff are being spoken to during shifts. Regardless of what may have been going on behind the scenes, customers should not be able to visibly pick up on that level of distress from the front counter. I hope whatever caused that situation is addressed appropriately, because no employee should look that upset while simply trying to do their job.
