We attended a 90th birthday event here and, unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The event featured a buffet, and most of the food seemed to be frozen and reheated. The meatballs were bland and watery, the chicken skewers had some flavor but were very dry like a popcorn fart, and the steak skewers were tough and chewy with an uninspired sauce. The fried mac and cheese bites were overly dry they needed water to revive them like a Narcan blast, the wings were overcooked and lacked seasoning, and the bacon-wrapped scallops were watery with chewy bacon. Even the potato skins were so overcooked that they were difficult to enjoy and if needed could be used as a weapon. The only item that stood out positively was the salad and its dressing. Another concern was the pricing. Our daughter has a dairy allergy, and since there were no suitable options on the buffet, we asked if a plain burger and fries could be prepared for her at our expense. We were told by the waitress they had to ask if that could be accommodated which was odd seeing the request was simple. We were served a frozen burger and frozen fries (nothing handmade). The cost was nearly $20 after tax, which felt excessive given the frozen food being served. While I understand that every restaurant may not appeal to every guest, I felt the food quality and value did not meet expectations. Based on this experience, I do not plan to return.

The food was better than expected. The barbecue steak tips and haddock fish was very good. The mashed potatoes had the made from a box texture but actually tasted good. The chicken parmesan looked like chicken tenders covered in pasta sauce and cheese made at home but was surprisingly tasty. The only dish that looked like it tasted was the pasta with spaghetti/tomato sauce, couldn't tell if it was from a can or a jar. I would say the food could be worth the trip.
