  It’s a grocery store that has everything you should need most of the time. Most of the staff is kind there are some that are rude. Prices are definitely a little higher than I would like to see.

  I've used stop and shop delivery since 2013. They've recently switched to using local stores to fill orders instead of fulfillment centers. Unfortunately for me I'm stuck with this store. Today I just got a message that I will not be receiving basic items like coffee creamer, chicken, cheese and salmon (even though I have substitutions turned on). I have never received a full order from this store. Either the shoppers don't understand how to substitute an item or this store can't keep basic groceries in stock. Either way it's a bad experience. I paid for a full year of delivery one week before they announced the changes to their delivery system (and they wouldn't refund that). I will not be using them anymore after this year expires. No sense in placing an order when only half shows up.

  Always out of stock of the few items they have, produce is always sparse and most of it is rotting, everything is 3-4$ more expensive than market basket. Overpriced for no reason.

  5 stars to the Stop & Shop Bakery Department! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They truly brought my vision to life with the beautiful cake they created for my baby shower. It was everything I imagined and more. Thank you so much to the amazing staff for your creativity, attention to detail, and hard work — you helped make my day extra special!

  Doesn't allow kombucha to be paid with food stamps (Market Basket does). Every time I go to this Stop and Shop in Peabody the sale price doesn't come off a lot of the items. I specifically buy items on sale and it's EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND IMPORTANT that the sale price comes off. I've gotten to the point where I ring up items individually to see if the sale price is reflected because sometimes it doesn't reflect until the end but nope. SALE PROCES DO NOT WORK AT SELF CHECKOUT HALF THE TIME. It's been a CONSTANT ISSUE when I come here. Today was the last straw. I will not come here again. It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. I will take the 5-10 minute ride to Market Basket. Enough is enough. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS AND NAKE SURE IT RINGS THROUGH AS THE SALE PRICE. And to edit it's not because I didn't use the "digital coupon".
