  Amazing roast beef’s but you can never get in contact with the store via phone and the website says you can order online but only offers a sweatshirt not even food…. Unfortunate for this business potentially loosing many customers because of not being reachable.

  Extremely Disappointing We came all the way from Hawaii, and Jamie’s Roast Beef was specifically the #1 thing on our list to do while visiting the area. We planned our entire day around it and made sure ahead of time that the restaurant was supposed to be open today. We drove an hour and 15 minutes from Maine specifically to come here. We arrived at approximately 11:30 AM, only to find a handwritten sign taped to the door saying they were closed, with “we apologize” written underneath in quotation marks. I completely understand that unexpected things happen, but when a business has people traveling a significant distance specifically to visit, simply putting a handwritten note on the door—without any apparent advance notice online—is incredibly frustrating and feels extremely inconsiderate of customers’ time. We went out of our way to make sure we came on a day you were supposedly open, drove over an hour, and arrived during what should have been business hours, only to be completely shut out. For a place that is so highly recommended and that people specifically travel to visit, this was a major letdown. Unfortunately, we’ll never know whether the food lives up to the hype because we couldn’t even get through the front door. If your hours are going to change unexpectedly, customers deserve better communication than a handwritten “we apologize” sign on the door.

  Food is amazing and the service is just as good! Worth the drive up to the north shore if you haven’t tried it!

  An artisanal take on the working class traditional North Shore Beef joint. I always get the Angry Ferg, but their other choices may suit you better.
