- GGGeneva McLemore (GIGI)2 days ago1.0I was accused of shoplifting. I could understand the reason for it (because I couldn't find my receipt)but the way it was done they never checked the camera prior to approaching me and I explained if I stole why would I return two hours later with the groceries I supposedly stolen. I was walk through the store like a criminal with the store manager pushing my carriage and the assistant manager walking behind me and kept getting accused the whole time of being a thief until finally the truth was revealed. The management staff except for Mark needs to be fired. I ask them to call Alaina(who was covering self checkout)the associate seen on camera the complete time to verify I paid for my groceries. I was told she doesn't need to be involved. I said "Your going to owe me an apology". Once I was found NOT GUILTY they offered me a half ass apology and a gift card. I informed them I am a domestic violence survivor and just left my abuser. I have been a resident and shop at this Shaws location for fifteen years and NEVER BEEN TREATED SO HORRIBLE. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND TELL OTHERS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE.
