  It’s a decent grocery store with a good selection, but sometimes I feel like the produce could be fresher. The staff is generally friendly, and it’s nice to have a place nearby for quick shopping. Just wish they had a bit more variety in some sections.

  Can never seem to get fried chicken here. It's either not ready yet (30 minute wait I'm told) or sold out. There is no regular schedule for it either at ANY stop and shop so it's a crap shoot driving to multiple stop and shop stores looking for fried chicken!!

  Stop and shop on Northampton Street is an absolute joke. Sarah, the front end manager is nasty and extremely unpleasant to staff and does so in front of customers. Edna the store manager is extremely unprofessional as well and both need to be removed from service all together. The store has gone down hi rapidly. Many front end manager that are very young have no standards of professionalism and speak poorly about other employees out in the open for us as customers to hear. Speaking about drunken nights, drug use and excessive profanity. I can't even tell you how many times I've stood in line and have witnessed Edna and Sarah abuse employees. It's disgusting and someone needs to put a stop to this. As a family we now travel to a different city to shop at Big Y.

  This is our go-to store. Its local, simple, prices are reasonable and with lots of sales. It has a bakery, a deli, and a small seafood selection. It gives me Big Y vibes, but smaller.
