Teenagers are very picky, so I was pretty specific about what they wanted - plain, everything (seeds) and cinnamon sugar. I sent someone who doesn’t speak English to pick up the order (he doesn’t speak much English, but it would be just to grab some bags!) he attendant spoke something to him, but he didn’t understand, she just laughed at him and shoved a lot of unwanted things in the bag, and I had to throw half of it away. How hard is it for them to stick to what you have ordered?? I’m not returning.

- SMScott McCloryApr 19, 20262.0I’m not sure what happened to Brueggers the last year or two. The quality is way down and the bagels have changed. I’ve been eating here for 40 years (Boston, Milton and HINGHAM) and to be honest I won’t be back unless some changes are made. First the order of system changed from ordering from the person making your bagel to a cash register and this changes the experience for the worse. Don’t like it and I miss the old way. Second is quality. Something has changed significantly. With the recent renovations I don’t see the old oven and kettle that we could watch the baker making bagels in. Do you even boil them anymore? I feel like Brueggers changed the process and went from a good old school NY style bagel to some sort of grocery store “ bread bagel” When I see the kettle and proper ovens return so will I. For now Brueggers is out. Which makes me sad. Also I got a bakers dozen today and they shorted me a bagel in it.
