  I would come to this stop and shoo often, and would have great service every time. The employees seemed happy to be there, and the managers seemed to help out. But I’ve noticed that since a newer manager, Sean, joined the store, it’s been going terribly downhill. The employees seem in worse moods, and I’ve seen him yelling at employees for the littlest most meaningless things. I just hope for the sake of the employees there, that manager gets removed

  Daytime workers here- so rude! I asked for help at check out and the woman got mad at me? I asked one question. She had the nerve to glare at me afterwards. Better staff please.

  I was shopping with my beloved daughter in search of some formula and I asked an employee named emy for some assistance on locating the formula as I am not from this area and she rudely walked away and ignored me this is not the kind of behavior that is appropriate at a local well know grocery store chain I was highly displeased.

  Today we experienced an extremely unpleasant and humiliating situation at Stop & Shop. My husband went to the store and used the self-checkout, paying for all of his items as usual. While he was still at the register, after completing the payment, he was approached by an employee and the store manager, who told him he could not leave until they searched his bags, claiming that the system indicated an item had not been paid for. Even after he repeatedly asked them to check the receipt — which clearly proved that everything had been paid for — they ignored him and proceeded to search his bags anyway. This was done without any respect, professionalism, or even a simple apology. We have lived here for 8 years and have been regular customers of this store. The self-checkout often has issues and we frequently need assistance, but we have never been treated with such disrespect. What happened today, Sunday (26th) at 6 PM, was humiliating. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled and with the lack of basic respect toward loyal customers. You lost a customer today — we will never step foot in this store again.
