We usually order “to-go” but ate in and met George for the first time on 9/14/26. My husband enjoyed his steak & cheese sub, and I my grilled chicken Caesar wrap on wheat. (I forgot to order it with no croutons, but the croutons didn’t overwhelm my wrap and were easy to remove.) My grandchildren adore this shop’s pita bread so I purchased 2 pieces to-go for their after school treat. George humbly informed me that the dough is made in-house and baked as they bake their pizzas. I gave just 4-stars for “atmosphere” because I noticed the plants in the front window display could use some TLC. Suggestion: maybe fun, non-living, hanging decor (like paper stars) would create an easier to maintain atmosphere. Thank you for your great meals & service South Street!
