  We ventured out in the rain, and it was totally worth it! 🌧️☕ We enjoyed every single bite of our breakfast, and our server was absolutely amazing. Such a great way to start the day! 🥞🍳❤️

  Breakfast was good. Service was great. Very clean. Would def eat here again. Looking forward to trying their lunch menu.

  At first, we went to McKenna’s Diner but it was extremely crowded so we left immediately. I had found this place on Google and was extremely satisfied. The service was QUICK and our server caught a mistake from the kitchen and fixed it swiftly. My boyfriend is an acoustic engineer, and noticed that despite the tall ceilings and modern industrial aesthetic, the speech intelligibility was excellent.

  This is not our first time coming and definitely not our last. The staff is always super friendly, the food is always on point, and we love supporting local businesses. The prices are also extremely reasonable.

  A few things: I generally like the food here, and appreciate they are in the neighborhood. I also really appreciate that they are open early. That said, the coffee is not drinkable. I will not order it, even if desperate. But the reason I leave a review at all, and I will say I struggle to do so, is I’ve had two sketchy experiences paying here and there was no way to reconcile these issues with them directly: 1) I recently went here with another person and paid on my card. A few days later I noticed a charge attributed to a fitness studio in Florida. When I called my credit card to dispute the charge, I realized this was for the exact amount and time of my brunch. Very sketchy, but I let it go because I did pay for that amount at that time. 2) The next time I went to brunch, I paid cash. The total was $33.12 and I gave $40/ 2 twenty dollar bills. The waitress gave me $6 in change. When I asked her where the coins were, she said: “Oh we don’t do coins because our change in cash comes from our money (referring to the waitstaff).” I was completely confused/horrified. Are the owners relying on the waitstaff to give patrons change in cash? I want to be able to go here and do like the food, but am really concerned about both interactions. I feel like I’d need to go with exact change in cash or not at all.
