- JKJack KempMay 1, 20262.0Staff are nice. Lots of offerings. However I have 2 significant issues with thr Dorchester location; 1. Why are your Boston prces so much higher (10-20%) than in your very nearby suburban Star (and Shaw’s) locations? The “sorry you live in the city” surcharge pricing for urban dwellers is deeply unfair. 2. This problem is conpounded by the fact that every week, without fail, you run out of your sales items. So not only do you frequently cap the number of sales items you can purchase (often limited to just 2 items! Even if you buy different varieties of the sale item), you always simply run out of products on sale. There’s no rhyme or reason; there are times I’ll go into your store three times in a week (different days, different times) to see if you have the missing items and you simply never replenish your stock. This happens ALL THE TIME at the Dorchester location. How are you so awful at logistics/predicting how much of product you need for sales-you have like years of in-store data; you basically mark the same items as sales items every week/other week, yet ALWAYS have empty shelves? Most people in the city can’t make multiple trips to your store, esp people who rely on public transportation! I’m looking at the current week’s circular, and once again, even your app shows half of the sale items are not in stock. Stop showing 30 varieties of Lays porato chips (on sale every other week) when you literally never have more than 4 varieties on stock. No one ever knows why, or just says “those are popular.” If you know things are in high demand, why are you as a rule under-stocking the store? It’s just always a frustrating experience

I received the reply from the owner who asked me to go to the website and mention the Google review. As expected, there is no place to do that. There is only a virtual assistant chat option. If you wish for me to proceed, and with every other person that you ask to go to the official website, please include a link to do that.
