  Love this market. I always thought it was well organized especially the produce area. Now with the reservations it will be better. I am especially thankful for lots of self check out machine. I generally purchase organic produce, so glad it is in one place easier to shop. I was a little unhappy when Shaws started selling wine and beer which move frozen and other food items in with regular ones. I too me a while to adjust but now I'm used to it. Definitely keep organic produce separate.

  My wife placed an online order Saturday evening for delivery between 1 and 5pm on Sunday. It included a birthday cake. It is now 845pm and no food. Shaws refused to cancel the order! Poor customer service.

  Shaws is good when it has sales, but the Dartmouth location is always sold out of the sale items it seems. I did an order for pickup set up to pickup yesterday and almost all of the items that were on sale weren’t in stock or sold out. I was very disappointed because I was trying to stock up on Gatorade and Powerade zero for the month for my kids and Snapples zero for me, being a bariatric surgery patient I can only do zero calorie and zero sugar. I would be so grateful if this store would keep more of their sale items in stock. And I agree the bathrooms aren’t always kept clean and you go into the woman’s bathroom and most times I walk out it’s so nasty. Then you have a few months ago, a cashier said out loud for the rest of the line to hear how much I had left on my food stamp card, I didn’t even know they were suppose to do that or circle it on my receipt and hand it to me while telling me my balance. I have never been so embarrassed, I am a single mom and I need the help. You never know someone’s situation and what they are going through.

  I bought a store prepared salad on May 14- the packed on date. Brown lettuce. What would it look like if I bought on the sell by date of May 17?!? Threw away the first batch. Next day, still two days before sell by, and threw away more.

  Staff is very irresponsible. They do not keep their can machines clean and empty. So that people can actually go there and use it when you go to the store that give you an attitude about it. Nobody wants to do their job something so simple. I even offered to do it myself because they're so lazy. Staffing is very lazy. All they want to do is stand around and talk to each other in gossip.Instead of actually working
