For context, I’m a general manager for a multi-million-dollar company, and I pride myself on providing excellent customer service. Unfortunately, this experience completely ruined my morning. I was on my way to a volunteer event and stopped in to grab breakfast, including hash browns for my 2-year-old daughter who was in the car with me. At the drive-thru speaker, I ordered an egg and bacon croissant sandwich, a coffee, and hash browns. I mentioned the meal option, and the employee explained they no longer offer the $6 meal with that sandwich. I said that was fine and clarified that I wanted the sandwich, 2 coffees, and hash browns. After paying and receiving my order, I noticed the hash browns were missing. When I pointed it out, the employee said she had tried to explain that they no longer offered the $6 meal. I explained again that I wasn’t concerned about the meal deal or the cost I simply wanted the hash browns I had ordered and was willing to pay for them separately. What happened next was the frustrating part. Instead of correcting the mistake, I was told I would need to drive all the way around, wait in line again, and place a new order for hash browns. When I pointed out that the omission was their mistake, a male employee in the background said they couldn’t help because there were cars behind me. That’s not customer service. When a business makes a mistake, the right response is to fix it, not inconvenience the customer further. All I wanted were the hash browns I had ordered for my daughter. I ended up stopping at another Dunkin’, where the staff quickly took care of me without any issues. Thank you to that team. Management should seriously consider retraining the staff at this location on communication, accountability, and basic customer service. A simple mistake became a frustrating experience because no one was willing to make it right.

She was degrading and intentionally went out of her way to scream at the poor kid in front of customers. It’s so sad as a former dunkin employee that management is STILL treating their employees that way. I hope something is done about this manager because she’s absolutely REVOLTING. Do better dunkin. I’m going to make sure I let people know about the literal ABUSE that I witnessed from your so called “manager”. Maybe she’s strung out. Or maybe she needs some counseling. What a MISERABLE human being.
