  I was buying a cake at 3pm on a Wednesday and waited for someone in the bakery to help write Happy Birthday on it. I went to the girl at self checkout, she says talk to the service desk. Proceeded to the service desk for help and asked the kid if there was anyone in the bakery. He looks at me then the cake and says, “what do you need them for?” Seriously? Turns out that there was nobody available at all. This is why Stop and Shop is horrible now.

  Imagine a supermarket closing at 10pm and an employee telling me the deli is closed for the night at 8:40pm. This is exactly why Stop n Shop struggles with business. I'd quit my job to be a regional manager and turn things around for you guys but you'd have to give me a great offer. You're going down the drain with this type of service.

  Great experience. Here we get all types of flowers and everything here. The flowers are very pretty cool

  usually love ordering custom cakes for my loved ones at stop and shop, but today i sent my brother to pick up a custom cake for our sister’s birthday and they gave me a completely wrong cake than the one i customized with them on Wednesday. they told me i never gave them the picture for the cake which i did the day i ordered it and had a worker take it from me personally, then clipped it to their clipboard. they end up confessing they lost my picture and gave me a cake with blue icing with my sisters name on it, something i didn’t ask for because i wanted the colors to match the picture she wanted. the only reason im giving the bakery a star is because they ended up just giving us the wrong cake for free, but at the end of the day, i’m very upset. the custom cake was the only thing my sister asked for her birthday. very disappointed with the bakery.

  I love Stop & Shop; I’ve always shopped at the Chelmsford location, and it’s very convenient for me. However, there are days I choose not to go because I prefer using the self-checkout, and there is a blonde woman—I don't know her name—who wears terrible makeup. She works some mornings—I often see her on Fridays— she is rude. She clearly hates her job; she really ought to be stocking shelves instead. I much prefer the younger employees who work in the evenings. The employee I’m referring to is truly rude, and whenever she has to come over to the machine to assist a customer, her face turns into a monster.
