  I say this to be constructive because Hannaford is generally a well run chain and this store is important to the town it’s in. However, the team running the store needs to know that it is consistently messy and full of basically obstacles for the shoppers. For example, a cart full of the mats for the cashiers randomly parked up near the registers. Frequent stock outs (more than you’d see elsewhere even though it’s normal to have a few), a lot of product not front and faced. Random carts to move stock around parked in an aisle. The boxes in the aisles with promoter products haphazardly placed in aisles. It’s not just lately, it’s been this way for years. I want to like shopping here but it’s not a good experience and there are many other stores nearby. It’s just an odd thing because these are basic retail motions. But pharmacy is great!

  I've been coming to this Hannaford for my primary grocery shopping for 6 years now. Service has always been great with a couple of exceptions. I recently came in after buying some meat that was spoiled. This is the 1st time this has ever happened, and apparently its a brand that gets shipped in. Brian the evening Operations Manager was awesome and made sure I was taken care of. He also has a great sense of humor while being professional at the same time. Keep up the great work at providing great service. The one minor thing that is frustrating is items this store used to carry are no longer there anymore. However, I do understand the position our economy is in right now is making it difficult for smaller grocery stores to get certain products and keeping them on the shelves.

  I recently visited hannaford on drumhill in Chelmsford. I needed to get a couple things, but after this visit I will never come to this location ever again! I saw at least 3 mice running around the store and the wall where they keep the bread near the bakery smells like mouse urine. I did see a mousetrap that clearly isn’t doing anything. I have a feeling that is the most they will do about this situation but that is purely my opinion. This is on the hannaford website, “Visit your local Hannaford Supermarket and Pharmacy at 66 Drum Hill in Chelmsford, MA and discover a shopping experience where everything we do is geared toward making it easy and convenient for you to shop for quality foods and prescriptions at affordable prices.” When I read that I would expect a clean store and not have mice running around. I could only imagine what they are trying to sweep under the rug with this mouse problem. “..quality foods..” I bet all the mice are loving all of the “..quality foods..” absolutely disgusting how they allow this to happen. Clearly they have gotten to the bread, so I would recommend no one ever get bread at this location. I can only imagine what else the mice have gotten into that people buy and eat everyday. Hannaford you will get people sick and could cause severe illnesses if you don’t actually do something about this issue! Mouse droppings are extremely dangerous and it seems like you don’t care about your customers or employees. Again this is my opinion about the mouse problem and from my point of view it doesn’t seem like they are doing enough to fix it.

  I made a mistake on my Togo order and the woman I spoke with was so nice and understanding despite it being totally my fault. Saved me an extra trip back with my kids in the car and I appreciate it!

  We order online because we can trust them not to make mistakes and meat and produce are always in good shape. And staff are cheerful and friendly.
