  Placed an order on uber eats late at night and once it was dropped off, I got a call from the owner of the store. He told me that they accidentally forgot the garlic bread. They issued a refund asap and apologized. The pasta and salad were the best we have had in a while, and the fact that he called me and personally apologized was a breath of fresh air. Will absolutely be getting this again.

  The food here is food, but what truly sets this restaurant apart is the owner. They are one of the friendliest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met at any restaurant. Not only did they make us feel at home, but they even offered to prepare a special dish tailored just for me. That level of hospitality and genuine care is rare to find.

  Cheap pasta built for takeout. Didn't think this place would last as long as it has. But I guess a cheap pasta spot open until 4am pulls a crowd in Boston. It operates inside Foundation Kitchen (test-kitchen concept for small business owners), and even on a recent quick takeout run, there were plenty of people ordering delivery from here. The first time I came in for an early dinner, the setup seemed fine. Standard op, with a boiling station feeding straight to the pan. I got the bruschetta and the spaghetti Bolognese. The bruschetta was great. A tad heavy on the olive oil, but the Italian bread was extremely soft and the diced tomatoes were fresh. The Bolognese was disappointing though. It was over-seasoned, and the spaghetti was severely undercooked. There was still residual starch clinging to the noodles, which made the texture thick and slightly clumpy, almost like rice cakes. And barely any meat in the sauce. I came back to give them another shot anyway. Classic pesto and chicken piccata. Most of the base pastas come without protein by default, so the pricing was a little deceiving, and the chicken in the piccata tasted like frozen breast that had been boiled and drained of all its flavor. This time, the pasta had been sitting in the container for at least 15 mins, so it naturally relaxed into al dente, but the sauces were watery. I'd noticed the cook barely stirred the pasta in the pan and never properly drained it, so honestly, watery sauce was expected. Unless you're seriously craving pasta past midnight, I wouldn't order it from here. An average neighborhood pizzeria does pasta better.
