  On August 30th, 2026, about 10:20 AM I was sending $ 100 to someone that's asked me for help. The agent grabbed the paper and the money in a very rude and unprofessional manner. When I talked to the manager Amy about what the agent did, the manager said how she didn't see it happen made it worst. Also by adding "if I felt that way she is sorry" is not appropriate.

  I have been living in this area for more than five years, and this Star Market has been my regular grocery store for years. Unfortunately, I can honestly say that the customer service at this location has consistently been extremely disappointing. Over the years, I have had multiple unpleasant experiences, but I usually let them go because I simply don’t want a trip to the grocery store to ruin my day. However, after my most recent experience, I finally felt the need to say something. It is very common to ask an employee for help and feel as though you are bothering them. Some employees are on their phones, respond with an unfriendly attitude, or make even simple requests feel like a major inconvenience. Even something as basic as needing assistance at self-checkout or canceling an item can become unnecessarily difficult. I also had a particularly bad experience in the floral department. I asked for a bouquet to be arranged in a specific circular style, but it was made completely differently from what I requested. When I politely explained that it wasn’t what I had asked for, the employee simply told me, “There is nothing else I can do for you.” The way I was spoken to was incredibly dismissive. What is especially frustrating is that I have been coming to this store for years, spending my money here regularly, and many of these experiences involve the same employees. At this point, it no longer feels like an occasional bad day or misunderstanding — it feels like a consistent customer service problem at this location. Customers should not feel uncomfortable asking employees for basic assistance. I don’t expect anyone to be overly friendly, but I do expect to be treated politely and respectfully when I am spending my money at a business. I sincerely hope management takes these complaints seriously and provides better customer service training and supervision, because after years of shopping here, it is disappointing to continue having the same experience.

  I like this store a lot, and I've shopped here happily for several years, but I'm not coming back until I have some confirmation that the rodent problem is seriously dealt with. Three or four weeks ago I had already brought my groceries home when I discovered a mouse dropping stuck to one item. I brought the item back to make sure the store knew about the problem, and the manager at the customer service desk was gracious about refunding my money even though I didn't have my receipt. Unfortunately several weeks later the problem looked even worse: a can of beans right on the shelf had multiple droppings on the lid of the can, and droppings were visible on many other shelves throughout the store. It made me want to throw away anything else in my house I'd bought here in that time. Please take care of this, Star Market.
