  Servers were delightful, and courteous, and kind. Coffee was like weak tea. Three stars for the coffee.

  I usually am very compensating but eating at Luxor was my worst experience in Boston. At first my order came uncooked (literally red meat) which thankfully they replaced. Based on the reviews and proximity to Harvard I was expecting delicious food but the food was terrible. Hygiene and cleaning standards were way below par, grime and grease spread all over the place. The cooking top and counter seemed like they were never cleaned after day one!. Different marinating dips,sauce for different recipes were handled with just one spoon and afterwards never cleaned spoon and countertop. There was no proper chef, the guys cooking there had aprons that looked like they were never washed. Random guys wearing T shirts would come in with friends and go in the kitchen and start touching/cooking everything without washing hands, head or beard covers. I happened to see the freezer room while it was open and it was even more messy than the cafe. A guy was cleaning with a broom, he collected all the trash on the floor right next to our table and disappeared and the rest of servers were just coming and going through it making sure it gets spread around again! PS: uncooked meat made my stomach upset.

  The atmosphere is nice but seems a bit untidy/crowded/messy due to the way it is designed. Their coffee is stronger than usual so, l go for latte there. Staff is kind and nice.

  Every single time I come here I always look forward to eating the Harvard Yard sandwich. When mosses makes it... O . M . G. its ALWAYS PERFECT. He does such a good job all the time and deserves more credit. I've had it before and he wasn't there and it wasn't up to the standards he put it up too. So pro tip make sure ONLY he makes it. soooo if you're coming here id definitely recommend the HAVARD YARD SANDWICH!!!!

  The chairs are really uncomfortable. Most of the food items were unavailable, and it took them around 40 minutes to give me my order.
