  Tasty cantonese food, relaxing atmosphere, friendly service. Decently priced. I enjoyed the har gau, shumai, red bean bun, sting bean with beef, egg fried rice, congee, and many more. This is my go to place for Cantonese food in Boston.

  My partner and I came here for lunch and it turned out firstly, the jellyfish salad was pretty bland in seasoning that we have to ask for vinegar to season it ourselves. Then for the main course, the beef chow fun was too bland and after asking to recook the dish it was still too bland as if they were cooking for the elderlies who have low salt tolerance (but we were in our 20s!) We also ordered a pumpkin porridge and it’s was too sweet that it started to taste bitter. Fortunately the waiter helped us to get a refund. My partner and I were grew up in China and we felt these two dishes was really inauthentic compared to what we expect based on experience.

  This review is for the dim sum only: this place was great when it opened but nowadays they warm up dim sum trucked in from somewhere else and overcook it (due to the re-heating), the food becomes a complete travesty. Avoid unless you enjoy sub-par dim sum. Other regular dishes are acceptable. It’s clear they don’t have a dim sum chef on staff, but the regular chef is just fine.
