I used to love this restaurant! I was excited to go last night. Either the tea eggs or the tuna poke bowl gave me food poisoning. I’ve been sick for 24 hours. There’s were raw inside and I thought I’d taken that part out…then again, the tuna was not cold and so I should not have trusted it. A disaster!
We had a wonderful lunch. Rebecca was an absolute joy. She made iced tea happen for us even though it wasn’t on the menu. The mushroom eggplant panko bao bun taco was excellent! We loved the fries with togarashi seasoning. Rebecca even treated me to an ice cream dessert for my birthday. It is so nice to have a vegan option that isn’t a salad. We highly recommend Wagamama.
We had a wonderful experience at Wagamama in the Prudential Center. The food was excellent, but what really made our visit memorable was the outstanding service.
I have some specific dietary requirements, and the manager, Amir, couldn’t have been more accommodating. Rather than simply telling me what wasn’t possible, he spoke with the chef and arranged for a dish to be prepared that wasn’t even on the menu. That level of flexibility, care and willingness to help is increasingly rare and was very much appreciated.
Our waiter, Alex, was equally excellent—friendly, attentive and genuinely keen to ensure we had a great experience throughout our meal.
It was refreshing to encounter such an open-minded, customer-focused team who clearly take pride in looking after their guests. Many thanks to Amir, Alex and the kitchen team. We’ll certainly be back the next time we’re in Boston.

For what it’s Worth

Advised of food allergy and was immediately told ‘couldn’t guarantee as cross contamination risk’. That same as saying ‘we can’t be bothered treating this seriously’ and destroys confidence. You’re either allergy attentive / compliant or not. Everyone with an allergy is very aware there is no guarantee but doenst need to be told ‘hey if we don’t wipe down correctly, clean utensils, then it’s not our fault’. Equally,
advising this is no excuse.
All food was served like warm; chicken in Ramen was very chewy; Panko chicken barely had any meat in it so was very brittle and some basically just fried breadcrumbs.
We only drank water but needed to ask / wait on refills two or three times (restaurant was empty so, no atmosphere really, staff not stretched, and could have turned music down as result) and also ask twice for bill.
Wagamama exceeded my expectations, and I had such a great experience that I completely forgot to take photos! The food was phenomenal—I was honestly shocked by how good everything was. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and it easily became one of the better dining experiences I’ve had in a while.
A huge thank you to Rebeca and Bibiana, who provided absolutely amazing service. They were friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and enjoyable from start to finish. Their hospitality really elevated the meal and made us feel well taken care of.
I’ll definitely be coming back. Between the incredible food and the outstanding service from Rebeca and Bibiana, this was a memorable experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal. Thanks again—you both were awesome!
