- CSClea Mae Sanap4 days ago5.0Great first experience at Joe’s! It was our first time in Boston, and we’re so glad we chose to dine here. The food was delicious, the portions were great, and everything we ordered was satisfying. The staff were also friendly and attentive, which made our dinner even more enjoyable. My friends and I had such a wonderful time and definitely don’t regret choosing Joe’s. We’ll absolutely come back the next time we’re in Boston! Shoutout to our server for making our night extra special and memorable! Definitely a place worth trying!

I booked the restaurant after seeing how beautiful the atmosphere is from the photos online but we had a marvelous dining experience as well. had the most amazing time, enjoyed the fantastic food, the romantic outdoor ambiance and the service was also top notch! we met Juls who was on top of everything, very attentive and friendly. He also gave us some tips on where the good spots in Boston are. Definitely had the best night all in all! This experience made my day extra special and I’m grateful! Thank you for my bday dessert Juls.✨😊
- ECElizabeth Castaño4 days ago1.0I visited Joe’s Waterfront today, September 8, at around 3:00 PM for lunch with my husband. The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed the meal. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the service we received from our server, Natasha. From the beginning, her attitude was quite dismissive and indifferent. She never seemed interested in checking whether everything was okay or whether we needed anything. Whenever we said “thank you,” she would simply turn around without responding. Even when she brought the check to the table, her attitude continued to be noticeably indifferent. It is disappointing because the food and overall experience could have been much better with more attentive and courteous service. A friendly attitude and basic interaction with customers make a big difference in a restaurant experience. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the service from Natasha significantly took away from what could have otherwise been a very enjoyable lunch.
- NPNicole PauletteAug 29, 20264.0We stopped by Joe’s Waterfront after trying a few other places that had long wait times, and they were able to seat the two of us immediately—which was definitely a plus! We sat outside in the sunshine. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much shade, but we were happy to get seated so quickly. Our waitress was okay. When I ordered the Back Bay Sangria, they were out of it, and she seemed a little impatient while I decided on another drink. She came back later, and I ended up getting the Mango Mule, which was delicious! We decided to share the Crab Benedict and then go somewhere else for a better atmosphere. The food was good, but it wasn’t quite as delicious or memorable as some of the other places we’ve tried. We did get the check very fast. Overall, it was an okay experience. I’d recommend it if you’re hungry and want to get seated somewhere quickly without a long wait. We didn’t have a bad experience, but it also wasn’t anything we would rave about. We probably wouldn’t go back, but it definitely served its purpose!
- RTRichard ThorntonAug 26, 20265.0My wife and I stopped into Joe’s Waterfront a few times during our stay in Boston, usually toward the end of the day to relax and enjoy the outdoor seating. We had good experiences each time, but one visit particularly stood out because of the exceptional service. Our server was terrific—friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy taking care of his guests. He worked seamlessly with the server handling the adjacent section, with both of them pitching in to help each other throughout our visit. As we were getting ready to leave, I asked Jules his name and told him I wanted to mention him in a Google review. He immediately lit up, called Josh over to introduce him, and then brought his manager, Christina, over so we could meet her as well. Their enthusiasm and camaraderie said a lot about the atmosphere and the team at Joe’s. Great location, great people, and especially great service. Thanks to Jules, Josh, and Christina for making a couple of visitors from Detroit feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Boston.
