We weren't even finished, and our table started getting cleared. My child was still coloring, but the coloring book disappeared. It felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave. Very disappointing.

hey guys! For me to even take time out of my day and do this, goes to show the extent of the discomfort and disappointment i experienced last night. And i loved Del Frisco's! But i refuse to be treated in such a way, to the point where i want to leave the establishment.
I came with some friend to celebrate some recent milestones. On arrival , there was no hostess. we stood for about 10 minutes as workers whisked by us .
Then the hostess came! at around 8:20 pm (reservation was for 8, got there around 8:12 due to traffic. came within our grace period. )
She had the most deplorable, repugnant , Egregious attitude . she barely greeted me and my friends, lead us to our table and threw our menus down. she did not let us know anyone would be with us. she did not acknowledge us at all after that. i was about to ask if we could sit by the water as there was a plethora of seats and i had made a request on our reservation but she walked away. I'm not sure if it’s because we were a group of black women, or if she was having a bad night. but it was very obvious. and it only got worse. We were all genuinely shocked and that was our first instance of wanting to just leave. We are hard working women, we were going to take our money elsewhere.
After were seated , we waited for 20 minutes before someone came to even ask if we wanted water or if anyone was serving us. The waitress who was obviously working the section we were in, had the same attitude. passive aggressive and walked by us a plethora of times before asking if we were taken care of. there was only so much staff working and i am More than accustomed to being at an upper scale steak house. She was passive aggressive in greeting us and serving us. we were not asked what type of water we wanted. we were barely checked on the service was , to sum it up, deplorable. i used to really not like del friscos and wrote them off! I had recently went to the Boylston street location and fell in love with them again!
Last night, My friends actually chose Mooo in seaport but i suggested del friscos instead because, again , I had Recently had a good experience at the OTHER location.
Seaport was horrible to us.
We were treated less than and it was very obvious.
That’s not right nor is it fair as paying customers. We were ignored , then rushed, and given so much passive aggression it was honestly uncomfortable as Heck. Steaks were undercooked, water glasses were dirty. Bathroom had a smell to it. A mouse also ran across the area where there is bottle of wine back towards where i assumed ad later confirmed was the kitchen on our way out. We did not even want to express that to anyone .The attitudes and the way we were treated and had no opportunity to discuss with staff that we felt our experience was Terrible because our waiter would come and go in a blink of an eye. We watched how she treated other tables vs ours. The difference was clear, we were written off and treated horribly. I can not express this enough. Amongst the other negatives of the night in this establishment.
And we were about to leave and go elsewhere, somewhere we weren’t made to feel uncomfortable. That’s not right . If i could give the hostess and the waitress from last night a personal rating i would give a -5 , with a note that there was blatant abash and hostility. Absolutely ridiculous and uncomfortable environment on a night that was meant to be celebratory

Stopped here for a drink and light dinner before a show at leader bank. I’ve been here before and enjoyed it. Sat at the bar. Service was exceptional. Wine was fine. For food I ordered the basic salad. This was quite nice, except I need a knife to cut the large leaves of greens. I don’t know why establishments cannot serve a salad in bite sizes. The meatballs (wagyu) were a disappointment. They were spongy - too much filler I’ve recently made wagyu meatballs and they were lush and succulent. Del friscos needs to do better with theirs. Else I’ll pop over to Eddie V’s or Morton’s next time.

Living in Dallas where Del’s started, I can tell you this location doesn’t live up to that standard, not even close. Bad service, raw steak, burnt onion rings, brown lettuce in my salad, etc. Del’s used to be our favorite steakhouse, but after a handful of bad experiences, we won’t be back.

The air conditioning was broken last night, but no one said a word as they led us to our table. Food was okay, service was okay. As a Texan who has visited many Del’s over the years, I would say don’t bother with this one. Better options in Boston. Here is a pic of my burnt onion rings.
