Walked in to frowns this morning . I assuming the one lady on the register was the manager. She was to busy reading receipts to even acknowledge that I said hello to her . So I moved down to the counter helper . She looked at me with the most unpleasant look . I said good morning to her as well … and once again nothing in return. She looked at me in disgust and kept working . To that I said to both women wow I thought this was Bruegger’s. They both didn’t say a word as if I wasn’t even there . I said ok this sucks I’m leaving . First time for everything I guess this was my first time feeling the service could have been a lot better. I had to travel from Chelsea for nothing . Wasted my time ruined breakfast.

I know this is a chain. But honestly, even as chains go, this place is tough to visit. Its close to work, which is why I end up there sometimes. The staff is friendly, but you always feel like the place is angry to be open and counting down the hiurs until closing. Their hours are 6am-2pm, but if you try to go at 1 sometimes the doors are locked. The other day I was asked to move at 11 because "they were trying to close this half of seating". Ive worked in restaurants, I totally TOTALLY understand the sinking feeling when a customer walks in at 9:55 and you close at 10. But for this place, it seems to start 3 hours early. Nothing against the staff there, they probably got there at 4am, I dont know, but maybe the place should hire a second shift? We had openings staff, mid shift staff and closing staff. So the closers knew they might end up cleaning after the restaurant closed.

I’ve always done uber eats from this place so I have no clue what the actual atmosphere is. This is the first time I’ve had an issue, my whole wheat bagel with egg, sausage and cheese came covered with everything bagel seasonings at first glance looked like tiny bugs after closer look it wasn’t. And then my drink didn’t come with the protection sticker and the straw was a dunkin straw? I already reported it on uber eats due to that and other reasons regarding the driver but the sandwich is always good and the drink is good too.

I have been coming here every day before work to get bagels. I had no problem before, but the app sometimes has technical problems that the staff are aware of. When I reported an issue that got me charged multiple times, I was met with rudeness and absolutely inappropriate behaviour from the manager (? I do not know if she is the manager, but she’s the older lady.) She was extremely unprofessional, and a few weeks before, I was in the store with multiple other customers inside when she started yelling at the employees and having an almost-breakdown at them. I was weirded out and offended that she would treat her employees like this in front of customers rather than in private. I do not have a problem with anything else, and I haven’t been coming here for a month or two, but that lady should not keep on working there for her own good. She is clearly unstable.
Also, I personally do not have any dietary restrictions, but I was once ordering with a friend who is vegan for religious reasons and absolutely cannot have meat or eggs. She ordered a bagel with no eggs, which she specified multiple times, yet she still got an egg on her bagel. This place is not the best for people with allergies or dietary restrictions. Please do better.

They messed up my bagels twice. I ordered the east coast pastrami without cheese. First they put cheese then when I went back they forgot the sauce. Also they didnt have any egg white but didnt mention it till the second time. The food tastes nice but the service wasn't great. Also two of the people behind the counter were arguing about something and the other stormed off. Im a bit disappointed cause I was expecting more.
