A lively, Barcelona-inspired tapas restaurant and bar serving Spanish classics, seasonal specials, and curated cocktails in a vibrant and contemporary space.
I was really disappointed with my experience at Boqueria. For starters, they sandwich you together and there’s about two feet between tables. The service was painfully slow, and to make matters worse, they were out of peppers and waited nearly 40 minutes before telling us they couldn’t make the Serrano ham grilled cheese we ordered. The portions were very small and grossly overpriced for what you get. The wine pours were also tiny and overpriced. The only highlight was the “Adult Summer Camp” cocktail, which was actually very good. Overall, the experience did not justify the price point and I wouldn’t rush back.

This is a great tapas place to go hang with a group of friends, have some drinks and share a few plates of very good Spanish tapas style food. I have 4 stars for food and service only because I have had much better before. We had theee different servers rotating throughout the night and that took away from a consistent service feeling. First waiter was not very good, didn't make any suggestions and couldn't remember orders. The sangaria was super weak / watered down, so skip that. Crispy sliced Iberico pork was very good, and so was the skirt steak with chimichuri sauce. Chocolate basque cheesecake was perfect.

The service was very poor. I ordered drinks, yet my food arrived before I even received a glass of water — which I had to ask for twice, especially since I never received my drink. On top of that, not all of the food I ordered was ever brought to the table. Later, the bartender asked if I needed anything else, and I requested the check. When the bill arrived, I was still charged for items that never came out.

I have a food allergy that the restaurant did not care. The manager tried to gaslight me during our business lunch. It was horrible, I had a reaction and they simply said I did not tell the waiter. Of course I did and I had 4 more people as witnesses of what happened. We are never going back because I am too afraid of eating there.
We know mistakes can happen but the way the manager was dismissive and trying to blame me was insane.

This was one of my most dissapointing lunches in years. We arrived at 1145 and were seated immediately and quite friendly as well. That is probably the last good thing I can say. Our party of three ordered a glass of wine and soda. We came for a specific Tapa as well so put that order in immediately. The drinks took a bit long but after that, the waiter advised they did not have our appetizer. OK, not happy but we ordered 4 items, one (meatballs) was a substitute for the 86'd tapa which came out quickly around 1220. They were average at best. Then the wait.... our next item the wings didnt arrive for 20 minutes and they were overcooked and cold. Then another 15 minutes for the chicken lunch bowl and sautéed spinach. Again, overcooked cold chicken and rice and the spinach dish was close to inedible with a very sour vinegar overpowering everything. We decided to leave just after 1pm with most of the food uneaten. The space is nice but wow, how does this place have these rankings? It was a slow lunch crowd (maybe 6 or 7 tables) so no way the kitchen was slammed. They did apologize as we were gathering up to leave for the excessive wait times. Still not enough. We did not mention or correct all the compounding problems, we didnt have time to get into as we had to get on....
