  They’ve got to be kidding. Only one checkout open. Six people deep waiting in line and 3 people sitting in the office doing nothing. I walked out and will never return.

  Beware if you get home delivery. They charged me for my groceries and put a hold on my account for the same dollar amount which caused me to bounce a check. I will no longer do home delivery or shop here. I have been a customer for several years. Customer service was helpful. They explained the pending charge usually "falls off' within 24 hours. Since my order was placed Saturday and today is Monday, it is still pending. Customer service was apologetic and stated this is a new policy. If I was aware of this policy I would not have agreed to this. Update: Today is Thursday July 2. Still theres a hold on my debit card. Spoke to the assistant manger, Sam, he told me its because of my bank which is total bs. My bank said its stop and shop.

  The store is pretty well organized but the deli crew is slacking. 4 people back there one lady wiping her nose as she cuts meat and terrible attitude like it's a problem that you ask them to do their job.

  Overall, everything was good, but I did run into one issue. I bought the pre-made chicken labeled “honey BBQ,” expecting something sweet, but it turned out to be spicy instead. It was a bit too hot for me, but I still ate it since I didn’t want to waste my food stamps. As someone who’s worked in retail, I know how important accurate labeling is—mistakes like that can be risky for customers. Just wanted to share this so it can be addressed.
