  Food was delicious but the waiter missed a few key details to our order. Maybe he was distracted or maybe he just didn't care enough anyway

  While on vacation in Bellingham Massachusetts, my family and I decided to dine at the Outback Steakhouse. The dining area was very clean, spacious and updated. The service was quick, friendly, professional and with patience. I'm going to emphasize when I say" patience" because the waitress came back to our table three to four times because the kids couldn't decide what they wanted to eat. The restrooms appeared to be maintained and cleaned on a regular basis. Food order for a party of six (three adults and three kids aged 8, 11, and 14). My fiance and I both ordered 2 steak dinners and her oldest order a full rack of baby ribs with fries. The youngest ordered a kids steak meal, the 11 year old fish & chips, and the 14 year old a pasta with chicken diner with one Blooming Onion appetizer. Drinks: one alcoholic beverage, one chocolate milk, two non-alcoholic Shirley Temples, and two sodas. The total bill was $202.72 + $40 tip totaling $242.72. I enjoy going out to eat at a restaurant with the family as it gives a sense of that old school feel. That feeling when everyone actually sat down together as a family each night. Unfortunately with most people living a fast pace life style sitting down and eating dinner on a regular as a family can be challenging to say the least. The Outback Steakhouse was am excellent choice. A bit pricey for the average family especially if looking to eat out on a regular. $240 is a decent amount of that could be spent on household groceries, but to be fair I believe for what we ordered for food/drinks in addition to the family experience the price was well worth it and I would definitely go there again. Great place to eat.

  For my second time eating from Outback I ordered pick up and it was almost another 5⭐ experience. The young man who took our order was very nice, funny and even added extra rolls to the order after I told him how much I liked them (FYI, I've been wanting to go back especially for the rolls...Best around!!), so great start. When I got home however, he gave me barbecue chicken, instead of plain with sauce on the side which is what I wanted. I live in N Prov so I wasn't driving back, plus I'm not a jerk so I wouldn't have anyway. That being said...I HIGHLY recommend the BBQ Chicken!! It's by far some of the best I've ever had. As a person who doesn't appreciate steak that much, Outback is still my new FAVORITE place for comfort food.

  We were gifted a $50 gift card for the Outback Steakhouse. Having eaten at their Bellingham, MA location before, we went there last night. We were given two plates for the bread. Both of those plates were dirty, so we asked for two more while we were eating. The next 2 plates arrived and were also dirty. At this point we said to the waitress, there must be something wrong with their dishwasher. We were informed that their dishwasher was broken so they were hand washing dishes. At this point we decided not to eat any more of our food. Dishes that aren't cleaned properly can spread disease and aren't something I'm interested in when paying for food at a restaurant. We will not be dining here again. We paid our bill and left.
