  Absolutely unacceptable. I will NEVER shop at this location again! I purchased frozen food, brought it home, prepared it for my family, and we were about to eat it when I noticed the expiration date: January 2026 — EIGHT MONTHS EXPIRED! How is food that expired eight months ago still sitting in the freezer for customers to buy? It must have been there since last year to have this expiation date. Even more disturbing, when I returned it, employees immediately pulled multiple other items with the same expired date from the freezer. Clearly, this was not an isolated mistake. Who is managing this store, and why aren’t employees checking expiration dates? This isn’t just poor customer service — it’s a serious food-safety issue. Customers should be able to trust that the food they’re buying is safe. I certainly don’t trust this store anymore, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

  Extremely disappointing experience dishonest and unacceptable customer service at this Star Market. At the deli counter I ordered and was charged for a Boar's Head product, but when I got home and tasted it, I realized they had actually sliced a lower-priced product and put a Boar's Head label on it. That is completely unacceptable and makes me question the honesty and integrity of this deli. I brought the issue to the manager's attention the following day, and to his credit, he was very helpful and professional. Unfortunately, when I went back to the deli to reorder the correct Boar's Head product and specifically asked for it to be sliced thin, the employee tried to give me an already-sliced package to complete my order. When I explained what I wanted, he became extremely rude and actually threw the package at me. Again I shared my frustration with the manager who said he would address it. Customers should be able to trust that they are getting what they pay for and should never be treated with such disrespect. Between being charged for a higher-priced product and receiving a lower-priced one, followed by the horrible treatment at the deli, this store has completely lost my trust. I will never shop at this store again.
