- NDNancy DrewAug 2, 20265.0Worth driving the distance! 5 Star bagel shop all the way! I live closer to the Belmont store, but travel further for the service I receive in Newton. Everyone is super friendly, the store manager is welcoming and entertaining, and the bagels are always made exactly per my request. They don't just say 'hello, how are you' and 'good-bye - have a nice day', they have true conversations, getting to know each individual customer. I'm amazed when I go there how the store manager and staff know all the customers and converse with each of them, making them feel welcome and not just customer they need to smear cream cheese on a bagel for.
