Not bad but other restaurants are doing it better, I met family there for lunch as we haven't seen each other in a while, a total of seven.....the waiter new we were having a get together so that might be why it took over an hour to get our food while others around us were getting theirs even though they came in long after we did but we did not deduct points because he may have held off for that reason and we appreciated it except my sister needed to get back on the road. Anyway, we all had a good lunch although my steak was a little rare for my liking and I did ask for "Medium Well" and the baked potato skin was way too salty, but all in all it was good and it is at a good location not far from the mass pike. It was clean and organized inside and a few people used the bathroom and I didn't hear any complaints. The decor was nice. Nothing to put my finger on but other places are doing it better. But I wouldn't refuse to go hear if that's what friends or family choose. Decent menu choices and I will say, the coffee is good. Definitely worth trying.

Ordered Door Dash from the Auburn, MA location, and when the order came the outside ticket was correct but everything inside was not what I ordered. I was upset and starving so I called right away and asked for a manager. I have never had a faster, more sincere interaction with a manager, especially after a mistake was made by the restaurant. The manager said she was going to correct it, and deliver it herself!! And she told me to let door dash know so I would get a refund for her mistake. I am impressed and want to give a good review because service is everything, and correcting a mistake while making me laugh almost subsided my anger entirely. Take notes on how to be a good manager.

If you have an ample time and don't mind "No service", go ahead. It will take 3 hours to eat dinner. You will get your Food&Beverage every 1 hour. Adding 30 min to start with. 1hour for appetizer. Then entree after another hour. Don't even think about refill. We finally gave up and left. Restaurant was empty but you still don't get the service. Now I know why. Not an Yelp user. But I think their reviews were all true. 2.5 is what this lousy Restaurant got. Well I believe it should be even lower tho. We're there for pleasant dinner time but they totally ruined it. 1) Put us in the table right across their working station right by the entrance. Constant metal noise from knives and folks. Once again the hall was empty yet they put us in the working station. 2) blackberry refresher didn't have any blackberry. Manager said there's no more blackberry. If so, waitress should have told me when I ordered. 3) no service what so ever. We have to grab someone for everything. Service was never offered first. I saw a father from another table constantly walked to the waiter station to ask something. Weird scene. Empty but no service. 4) Hotel I stayed had the list of 40 restaurants to recommended. This Outback was not there even tho it is 2 min away. What a shame.

I ordered a side of Walnut Blue Cheese chopped salad because the OUTBACK in my hometown had gone out of business. I had been craving this salad for a few years since it closed. Unfortunately, I was served a salad that was well passed its prime. This sub-par salad had brown lettuce, slimey scallions, and shrivelled up cheddar cheese. (They look like crunchy chow mein noodles in the photo....thats the "orange" cheddar cheese!) When I mentioned that I did not want the salad, the waitress (Chloe C) rolled her eyes, took it away and said "Ill get you another one". I said "no thank you", and while she was walking away, she said "seriously I'll get you another one."..I repeated.."no thank you, that wont be necessary". We then were visited by the manager who did apologize and offered to make a fresh salad. I let her know that a replacement wasn't necessary. (Because shouldn't they have ALREADY made a fresh one the first time? Obviously there are some bad ingredients.) When the rest of my meal came...it was edible. But I wouldn't rave about it. My teenage daughter was with me and was telling me that the waitstaff, and guys from the kitchen kept coming out from the kitchen, looking at us, whispering to each oyher, then rolling their eyes. My back was turned... so maybe that was a teenager thing. But considering the manager waited on us the rest of the time, I am guessing my daughter wasnt exaggerating. I had NOT been disrespectful to the staff. I did not raise my voice. I just said "No thank you, I wont be eating this salad". Please look at this salad. I have circled the gross lettuce in red. Do you think this is fresh?

We have been to this Outback several times before and have always had a great experience, which is why this visit was so surprising. First, I ordered mashed potatoes, but I was served the loaded mashed potatoes instead and was charged for the upgrade even though I never requested it. Our drink refills never came, and the steak was overly salty. The biggest issue, however, was with the 3-Course Meal promotion. We ordered the appetizer, entrée, and dessert. We specifically asked our server if we needed to choose the dessert when placing our order, and she told us we could decide later. We’ve ordered this same promotion on previous visits without any issues. After we finished our meal, paid the bill, and asked for our dessert to go, we were told it was no longer possible because the check had already been paid. That made no sense to us, especially since we had followed the server’s instructions. After we tried to explain the situation, a manager shouted from the kitchen asking whether we wanted to eat the dessert there or take it to go. We had never met this manager before, and her approach was noticeably different from the professional and courteous service we’ve always experienced from the management team during our previous visits. Her attitude was disappointing and did not reflect the level of customer service we had come to expect. When we expressed our concerns, the manager didn’t seem interested in understanding what had happened. Instead, she offered us courtesy cards, as if we were trying to get something for free. We politely declined because that was never our intention. We simply wanted the same level of service we’ve consistently received during our previous visits. Honestly, I don’t blame our server. It seemed more like a lack of training and guidance than an individual mistake. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers because we have always enjoyed coming here and would like to continue doing so.
