The food was extremely disappointing and nowhere near worth the price. The crispy spinach chaat lacked flavor and fell completely flat. The $19 paneer kati roll was especially underwhelming—dry, plain, and missing the sauces or chutneys that typically bring a kati roll together. Instead of a flavorful, cohesive wrap, it was just a lump of paneer with some dry greens.

We just placed a large order with Monica for our son's engagement ceremony as a sweet souvenir to hand out at the end of the ceremony. The mithai was amazing - our friends and family from New Jersey said they were better than anything they get locally. They were beautifully packaged in a very artistic box and she put extra touches like dried rose petals and silver foil on the mithai which made them look even more appealing. We were beyond satisfied and will continue to order from Monica in the years to come. Thank you Monica!
Monica’s Café in Andover, MA is an absolute gem that truly stands out. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a fresh and flavorful lunch, or just a quick coffee and pastry, there’s something for everyone. What really impressed me was the efficiency—despite how popular the place is, the wait time is very reasonable. Even during busy hours, the staff keeps things moving smoothly without making you feel rushed.
And speaking of staff, the service is truly exceptional. The team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your experience enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction.
Overall, Monica’s Café delivers on all fronts—great food, quick service, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely a place worth visiting again and again.
Monica’s Mithai Shop in Andover is a true standout and a delightful addition to the local culinary scene. I visited with family friends and was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the overall experience.
The space offers a cozy, thoughtfully designed café ambiance that feels calm and inviting—ideal for enjoying a relaxed outing. Every item we tried reflected freshness and careful preparation. The highlight of the visit was the Palak Crunch Chaat, which was exceptionally well executed and undoubtedly a must-try. The Paneer Kati Roll was also very tasty, and the Samosa Bliss dish was equally delectable. The sweets were impressive as well, showcasing authentic flavors and a clear attention to detail. It’s also a great spot if you’re looking for flavorful vegetarian options.
The masala chai deserves special mention—rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, it was easily the highlight of my experience.
Service was prompt and genuinely warm, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The entire experience felt well worth the price, and I would gladly return. If you’re in the area and in the mood for good Indian snacks and sweets in a relaxed setting, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I stopped by Monica Mithai Café in Andover today for a takeout order of two chai lattes, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Despite the café not being busy, there were no greetings, no acknowledgment, and we stood there unsure of how to order until the woman behind the counter finally asked if we were ready. That alone set the tone.
While placing our order, the staff member walked away twice to do other tasks, forcing me to repeat the order multiple times. We originally asked for one hot Irani chai and one iced saffron chai. After waiting, we were told they were out of saffron, so we changed it to two Irani chais—one hot, one iced.
What we received were two hot chai lattes. I explained again that one was supposed to be iced (I had already said it several times). The woman took one of the hot drinks, muttered under her breath, and instead of remaking it properly, she dumped some out and added ice directly into the hot drink in the same to‑go cup. At that point, I was so frustrated I didn’t even bother saying anything else.
We tasted the drinks, and they were honestly terrible. Between the poor service, the attitude, and the careless preparation, this was a complete miss. I won’t be returning.
