  These 3 stars are only for the Star Employee of the Month there. Today - Wednesday, August 19th 2026, a young chocolatey-caramel complected gentleman by the name of "James" was standing behind me in line when I tried using my card that was declined. As I was about to go to Customer Service, James used his own card to pay for my groceries. Being too exhausted and embarrassed to prove I had the funds, I just accepted his help and thanked him. (What he didn't know was that he reminded me and taught me a valuable lesson in humility.) Here I've been complaining about migrants overpopulating Massachusetts and one of these men from another country just paid for my family's meals when I could tell he was struggling too... If this doesn't get to him through his workplace, I wish that man and his family the very best in all aspects of life. Because going hungry isn't a small thing to me. Thank you again, brother. 🫂✌️

  Stop&Shop 是我從學生時期就很喜歡的逛超級市場，在美東新英格蘭地區有很多分店，特點就是很大，商品齊全，賣場寬敞，空調也是很舒服，逛起來，一點都不擁擠且很舒服。

  Constantly buying food and coming home only to find the food is spoiled/rotten inside. Literally 1/4 of their produce has fungus/mold. This location needs to be run better.

  I have always had a preference for my local Stop and Shop versus the other grocery stores in my neighborhood. There is a wide selection of fresh food items and non-perishable food options. The staff is kind, helpful and respectful. Unfortunately, my last shopping experience was traumatic in terms of customer service. The employee supporting me at the checkout counter who has helped me in the past and done a wonderful job behaved in a rude, disrespectful and careless manner during the checkout process. My family members and I were bagging the groceries and noticed the employee at the cashier was passing the food to be bagged in a rough manner. When the passing of the food began to get even rougher, I asked the employee to please be careful and the employee's response was, "just bag" in a rude and demanding manner. I proceeded to tell the employee, "you do not need to be rude" and I asked to speak to the manager, the employee's response was, "I don't care" and walked away from the checkout counter. The manager approached me in a calm manner and helped finish the checkout transaction. I began to cry at that time because I was being accompanied by my family who is visiting from out of town and they had to witness the unpleasant interaction and thinking through the fact that, this being my neighborhood preferred grocery store, how I would feel the next time I shop here because all that I desire is to have a productive and pleasant shopping experience. I have hope that such incidents do not happen again and do appreciate the compassionate presence of two employees nearby, in addition to the support of the manager.

  Clean, huge...but too expensive!!! Just like Star Market and almost as bad as Whole Foods. Cant even afford to buy peaches in the middle of summer. What is this world coming to???? Children today will get malnutrition.
