The gentleman who made my custom Club Tuna sandwich did a wonderful job of putting it together, taking his time with each ingredient, toasting it to perfection, and he was also quite engaging in terms of conversation as he was prepping my sandwich. All in all, excellent service.

Wraps are literally 80% filled with just lettuce. And just a little bit of deli meat and some watered down sauce, they’re really not worth it. Also, while the Dunkin Donuts employees at this location are very attentive and always have fantastic customer service, it doesn’t seem that the Jimmy Johns workers are proplerly trained. There’s usually no one at the JJ register when you come in, so you have to wait unnecessarily until a helpful DD employee calls it to their attention.

Came into Jimmy John’s with my daughter for lunch today, excited to try it considering we never had before. Boy were we disappointed. For starters, my daughter ordered the #12 beach club and wanted the smallest (Little John) size. The cashier had a very difficult time figuring out how to ring it up and needed the assistance of a second cashier. The second cashier , after also taking a lot of time figuring it out then rang up my order of a #16 club lulu regular size, potato salad, and a diet soda. After paying $35.97, we began waiting for our food. The first cashier then brought to my attention that the second cashier accidentally charged me $7.60 for a third sandwich we didn’t order and refunded my money. We then got our sandwiches. My daughter’s sandwich was an absolute mess with one piece of turkey on it. She did not like the taste at all, said the avocado made the bread soggy, and the turkey was extremely salty and poor quality (see picture). My sub was mostly lettuce (see pictured) with the same findings of the turkey as my daughter. The best part of the meal was the potato salad and Diet Coke. My daughter had one or two bites of her sandwich and threw it away. I ended up taking her to Jersey mikes. I ate my sandwich but would rate it a 2 or 3 out of 10 at best. The employees at one point said they were “still learning” even though it’s been open close to 2 months. I also don’t think that having the Dunkin Donuts employees being cross trained at Jimmy John’s helps anything. Probably would be better suited hiring people to work at JUST Jimmy John’s full time. We will not be back. Will definitely do Jersey Mikes in Maynard or Market Basket as our choice for subs.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the new Jimmy John's in Acton. On 5/31, I ordered a Bootlegger, which is supposed to include both turkey and roast beef. When I got home after a 30-minute drive, I discovered that the roast beef was completely missing. The sandwich was also sloppily made and looked rushed. I called the store and spoke with Bruna, who apologized and told me to come back the next day (6/1) and mention her name so they could remake the sandwich. While I was frustrated about having to make another trip, I appreciated that they seemed willing to correct the mistake. Unfortunately, the situation got even worse when I returned on 6/1. Bruna was not there, and when I explained what had happened, I showed proof of purchase and the receipt with Bruna's name on it, confirming that she had instructed me to come back. Despite this, the employee I spoke with, Will, smirked and said, "I can't vouch for that." Instead of attempting to resolve the issue or giving me the benefit of the doubt, I was made to feel as though I was being accused of lying. The original mistake was bad enough, but the dismissive attitude and complete lack of customer service were far more frustrating. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. What matters is how they're handled. In this case, the sandwich was made incorrectly, I was asked to make a second trip to the store, and then I was treated with skepticism when I returned exactly as instructed. I've been to a number of Jimmy John's in the Boston area, but this was the worst experience. I will not be returning to this location.
