  First time at this location. The hostess was M.I.A. for a good 8 minutes before checking in our party. Then multiple groups were sat before us. Our server was nice, but they seemed to be way understaffed because everything took forever. Writing about the food, totally did not sit well with my stomach. I was sick all day Saturday from Friday’s meal. My sirloin smelled old. I was only able to take two bites. Ribs were very garlicky and the mashed potatoes were congealed. Other members of my party had issues with some of their items as well. Two people enjoyed their food so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Overall, convenient location, not the best service/not welcoming initially, and not great food. If I come back, I hope it’s better.

  We visited this steakhouse for my father’s birthday dinner, and the experience easily exceeded expectations. The restaurant had an upscale atmosphere without feeling stiff or overly formal, which made everyone comfortable right away. I ordered the ribeye with roasted vegetables, and the steak was cooked perfectly with great flavor and tenderness throughout. The sides also tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared instead of feeling like afterthoughts. Compared to several chain steakhouses we’ve tried recently, the food quality and service here felt far more consistent and polished. The staff handled our larger group smoothly, and the evening ended up being one of the best family dinners we’ve had in a while.

  The experience I had at Outback was absolutely terrible. The food I had was absolutely terrible'' i will never go to slidell outback steakhouse again the was burn up food

  Service was good but the food was not good at all. Had something as hard as a rock in my burger and almost broke my tooth on it. Had the steak the time before also wasn’t that great.

  Burned and spoiled steak served to me! I exchanged it for ribs. Manager did not come out to speak with me. Very boring sad atmosphere all around. Service was just ok. I should have gone nextdoor to eat.
