  I went there because I seen it across the street from my hotel, and it looked like an authentic Mexican taqueria, I researched it and seen that they had actual trompos going which drew my attention because trompos are rarely seen nowadays in the United States and also they advertised homemade tortillas. The taqueria atmosphere is there the music is somewhere else, the service is fine. The prices are high but I'll get back to that later. The pastor is good with its pineapple, the tortilla they used on my tacos where reheated, a tortilla is supposed to be soft all throughout but all the edge was hard, so that's reheated no doubt about it, personally for me 2 tacos per plate is absurd, the best authentic presentation could be 6 or 4 at the very least of course if you order more than 2. The green sauce was good, the Jamaica water tasted good it tasted homemade, but the price of $5 for what I believe was like 6 ounces of actual product is beyond expensive, with $5 Worth of hibiscus you can probably make like 5 gallons of water. The tacos where sitting at almost $5 per taco, and even if they where like at $3 the pastor with the pineapple and green sauce was good but the hard edges on the tortilla made them fall a couple points... I understand they're in the middle of town, but I spent $100+ on 8 tacos, 2 taco size quesadillas, a cheese dip, 12 ounces of hibiscus water, 2 glass bottle sodas and bottled water. Even if the prices stay the same, I think there is room for improvement in the food and maybe have someone deliver the tacos to the table. But definitely make the $5 hibiscus water at least double the size.

  Just one thing the Sirloin taco 🌮 was very crispy like burnt overcooked. I recommend just have dos sauce 2 spicy and 1 mild. The white habanero with yoghurt sauce don’t make match with the kind of food of the Carnalito Taqueria.

  I really wanted to love Taqueria Carnalitos because the space itself is undeniably cool. The design has a sleek, modern aesthetic with vibrant visual accents and strong lighting that give the restaurant a great energy the moment you step inside. ​Unfortunately, the ambiance and the house salsas, which are actually quite good, are where the highlights end. ​Service was just okay, but the main disappointment was the food. For a spot charging premium prices, the tacos were extremely underwhelming. They market themselves as serving authentic CDMX-style tacos, but the flavors fell completely flat and tasted awful. High prices can be forgiven for incredible, genuine street-style flavor, but when you're paying top dollar for poor execution, nice decor just isn't enough to bring me back.

  First time and last time ever coming here. The lady working the register could not look any more less annoyed while talking to us, rolling her eyes while simply asking questions or making small talk, no smile what so ever. Was told they had no meat and didn’t offer any other substitutions. Train your employees better or hire people who can and want to work customer service!

  Hola, paso por aquí para dejar mi opinión sobre este Único y Sabroso lugar, me disfruté tanto estos ricos tacos, pero lo que realmente me encantó muchísimo ,Fue la originalidad auténtica de las TORTILLAS!!! Omg son únicas , exquisitas, sientes ese sabor y hasta el mismo calor mexicano!! Su textura, el sabor .umm😋 realmente no había comido unas tortillas tan ricas como esas aquí en usa! Les recomiendo ese Gran lugar!!! Se siete que todo es hecho con amor ! FELICIDADES A TODOS LO QUE HACEN POSIBLE ESTA GRAN SATISFACCIÓN a nuestro paladar
