Work downtown, called ahead for a burrito to go during lunch 3 times in the last month or so. I recommend the jerk chicken. Consistently good both times.
Wanted to try something different and ordered the Western Burrito. When I got back to my office to eat it, I was disappointed by the loose wrap of the burrito. I asked for no jalapeños and the person who took my order repeated that, but they were in there. I ate about half before I was done with it, never really got to any cheese or chiplote sour cream, maybe that was all in the bottom half?
Also, I saw this on a menu photo from 5 months ago, and as a heads up it’s now $18 in instead of $16. Also noticed it’s not on the up to date menus on the website.
Staff is very friendly and will give you were while you’re waiting for your food. Bathroom is clean.
I might get another jerk chicken burrito sometime, but no rush right now.

It started out promising with the jerk chicken bowl but ended in complete disaster. The first picture is after the waitress brought it to the table. The second picture is after eating half and biting down on a SCREW! I brought it to the waitress's attention and she disappeared for over 10mins. She never apologized. After asking another waitress to tell her to come back, she slides the receipt to me and say "We took off the bowl". STILL no apology! I asked her where did the screw come from? Then the male manager comes up and says we are investigating about what happened. He never apologized either.
I asked him how could a screw get into someone's food. He said that his cooks doesn't have screws and insinuated I could've done it. I told him to run the cameras back in the front and the kitchen because there was one pointing directly at me. He basically declined.
I'm so disappointed. I felt like they were trying to gaslight me. This is the worst experience I've had on my trip to New Orleans! I walked in the scathing heat from my hotel to this place only to be treated horrible. How can you not apologize and not attempt to offer an alternative? Why not run the cameras back to find out what really happened? Why have inadequate management (the male manager)?
0/10 wouldn't recommend!
