Lives up to the hype. Innovative and delicious dishes and drinks. We are foodies and will definitely be back. The watermelon gazpacho was out of this world.

Herbsaint is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food is well-prepared French, with a Louisiana influence. The atmosphere is inviting and the wait staff is top-notch. The dining room can be slightly loud during the busy hours, but the food more than makes up for it. There is seating available outside, which is reminiscent of a Parisian sidewalk cafe. I frequently bring out of town guests here as an introduction to the New Orleans food scene because there is something on the menu to please essentially anyone. The cocktails are well crafted and the wine selection is ample. The pastry chef at Herbsaint is exceptional and produces some of the best desserts in the city.

Wow!!! The food was outstanding here! We are huge foodies and traveled the world eating at some of the best and after my meal yesterday I said this may be my new favorite restaurant. Every dish was perfectly prepared and wonderful combination and balance of flavors. We had the duck croquettes, fried green tomatoes, kanpachi crudo, wayyu bavette and duck confit. We also had the banana caramel tart which was so delicious. All amazing and we didn’t leave a morsel on any of them. The cocktail we had was also amazing and the lovely sommelier recommended a wonderful bottle of wine. The service was excellent as well and I will be back every time I come back to New Orleans.
