  We always have a great experience eating at El Gato Negro. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is excellent. I recommend everyone visit El Gato Negro ASAP. Thank You. :-)

  Cool spot with great atmosphere! The food was delicious and my vegetarian cousin even loved her food. Lots of vegetarian options and even more for the carnivors. The service was a little slow based on what I am used to which was the only drawback. I would return the next time I am in NO.

  The wait between ordering our food and it arriving at the table was over am hour. Given it was Cinco de Mayo I expected some delay, but there were parties seated after us thag received food before us AND the dining room was not packed at all.

  El Gato Negro is the only restaurant I’ve found in New Orleans carrying Dope Daiquiris! That alone makes it worth the stop. These daiquiris are THC-infused, smooth, and definitely hit different. In New Orleans, this is the spot. IYKYK 🍹🔥

  I had the steak fajitas and a cheese dip. My order was to go. They did not provide any silverware with the order so that made it a bit difficult to eat. Automatic 20% charge on to go orders. The meat had no seasoning. Vegetables were cut way to big and had no caramelization. Cheese dip lacked any flavor. For the price I expected better
