Run, do not walk. This place was flawless. The spicy fried shrimp appetizer, for only $10, some of the best shrimp my wife has ever had. A+ The duck pastrami sliders, with cheese and bechamel, more like finger sandwiches than sliders, but still absolutely amazing, and worth every penny of the $12 I paid for them. Solid A. The ham and gruyere stuffed pretzel was very good. The housemade chips were also very good. The bacon praline was very good. All A- or so. Prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is fantastic, kitschy Star Wars meets Pirates of the Caribbean meets rustic chic. We're only in New Orleans for two more days, but will definitely be going back, and this time we'll try the Cajun spiced ribs and the mac and cheese. This place is a winner.

Went here because I love new orleans, and I love their oyster po, boys. Really? Nice environment, big, open spaces. I sat at the bar in order my appetizers the oysters and egg rolls. The oysters were huge, delicious. The way I love them, I would have had a dozen more but I wanted to eat a po boy. The egg rolls was nice and crunchy. Loved the po boy. Nice crunchy and great bread. The fries were not fresh, you could tell they were sitting in the warmer.

Took refuge here during a rainstorm and so glad we did! The butcher selection sausage board was fantastic - tasted a proper andouille sausage that’s house made - 12/10. The boudin was delicious - not fried here. The spicy sausage packed a punch. Even the pickles were great! Full bar with lots of non alcoholic options. Didn’t get to try any but the sandwich selection also looked great.

Visiting in area from Maryland my husband and I popped in for lunch. We opted to sit at the bar to receive full service rather than ordering at the counter. However, those who opted to order at the counter seemed to have very attentive food runners and servers who checked on them regularly. Our bartender was Chris and was assisted by another very nice young lady with black pig tales. We were welcomed with a smile and genuine conversation. For drinks we had a Kolsch and a signature cocktail ~ My Melancholy Bay. The cocktail was excellent; light and refreshing. Our meal started with duck pastrami sliders and Cajun fried ribs. Both were not huge portions but very tasty. We were happy about that because we both wanted to enjoy a sandwich. Our choices for sandwiches were the Moroccan Spiced Lamb, which was recommended by our bartender, and Cajun Pork Dog. Both were excellent and highlights of our experience. The lamb was extremely tender and flavorful. The vibe is funky and casual. Once the place got hopping it is noisy so no quiet lunch or dinner. This was just what we enjoy and felt very welcome and comfortable. The only downside was the bartenders got distracted by sales reps coming in share and offer tastes to the staff which caused a slow in attentive service. I gave a 5 star because I don't think that was intentional but nonetheless affected the end of our experience. I would absolutely go back and recommend.
