  Hey Y’all, loving the new Cava on Freret in New Orleans. Count on New Orleans style big greetings and Uptown friendliness. Of course the food is Cava Good!

  This location is amazing!! So often the Cava workers are super helpful, very sweet and just happy themselves! Always above and beyond with crew/location.

  I had never been to cava before but it went super well! I have a lot of allergies (gluten, dairy, eggs, sesame) and the server, Xavier, helped me order something safe for me! He was super helpful, and made my experience amazing! Thanks Xavier! The food was so good too.

  If I could give this location zero stars, I would. We walked in at 10:14 PM, fully aware that closing time was 10:30 PM. Instead of being greeted or acknowledged, the staff completely ignored us while cleaning up around the restaurant. When we finally got to the line, we were abruptly yelled at with “Rice or beans?” rather than being treated like paying customers. The entire experience felt rushed and unwelcome. Staff were already cleaning, throwing dishes around, giving dirty looks, and acting as if we were inconveniencing them despite arriving before closing time. Customers should never feel like they’re a burden for walking into a business that is still open. This was by far one of the most unprofessional dining experiences I’ve had. If your employees are ready to go home, that’s understandable but don’t take it out on customers who arrive during business hours. We ended up leaving without ordering because of how uncomfortable and unwelcome we felt. Disgusting !!!!
