Our coffee is sourced locally from roasters with over 30 years of experience roasting their own blends. Café Beignet is proud to continue the tradition of serving Chicory Coffee, first introduced by the French to New Orleans when it was still a colony of France. Chicory is a plant that is roasted through a similar process as coffee beans. Coffee and chicory are grounded separately and then combined, resulting in a most unique taste. New Orleanians have developed a love for its bolder flavor and we hope you will too! Since 1990, Café Beignet has four locations in the French Quarter with another on the way. Each of our locations offers something unique to its visitors, including live jazz, cocktails, outdoor seating (with pet friendly areas), and classic New Orleans dishes to complement our beignets. With an abundance of local flavors, you will find only the best in food and drinks at Café Beignet!

I tried the ice latte with Lavender and Vanilla syrup and an order of beignets. Service was great. Atmosphere was definitely a vibe, I imagine the place comes to life when they have live music. Compared to other beignets shops in New Orleans, the beignets here do not rank as high.

My son's 'must go-to' place. Everytime we visit he wants to go here at least once and prefers it over other well known, similar tourist spots. Can get crazy crowded but alternative options to traditional items are great.

I went from complaining that three beignets was too little to "Man, these are huge". Enjoyed my experience at this Cafe Beignet location. Plus with the live music on a gorgeous Friday morning.

First time to eat a reigned. Was delicious. We were on a culinary tour and was one of our stops. Will definitely have again.

Yikes...these are the worst beignets I've ever eaten and I'm born & bred here. We got there 10 minutes after they opened. All of the staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was nice. I got the sampler basket with one traditional, one chocolate drizzle (with strawberry sauce) and one salted caramel drizzle beignet. They were so dense. Like a cross between shoe leather and a square hockey puck. That coupled with $24 ONE hour parking across the street. Never again. I would really hate to think that tourists may come and go, thinking those are the best beignets we can come up with.
