Due to our shared kitchen and some prepared bases for dishes, we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment at any location. If you have a seafood allergy, please make sure you alert us upon ordering. Beignets on Royal St., Canal St. & Decatur St. are safe from seafood as we do not fry seafood at those locations. However, we cannot guarantee the same at Bourbon Street. Please exercise caution.

Can I call in orders of beignets to-go?

We accept pre-orders for pickup if you are buying 20 orders of beignets or more.

Our coffee is sourced locally from roasters with over 30 years of experience roasting their own blends. Café Beignet is proud to continue the tradition of serving Chicory Coffee, first introduced by the French to New Orleans when it was still a colony of France. Chicory is a plant that is roasted through a similar process as coffee beans. Coffee and chicory are grounded separately and then combined, resulting in a most unique taste. New Orleanians have developed a love for its bolder flavor and we hope you will too! Since 1990, Café Beignet has four locations in the French Quarter with another on the way. Each of our locations offers something unique to its visitors, including live jazz, cocktails, outdoor seating (with pet friendly areas), and classic New Orleans dishes to complement our beignets. Cafe Beignet on Decatur is one of those spots you end up randomly stopping at and actually enjoying. The beignets were fresh, soft, and covered in powdered sugar just how they should be. I liked the atmosphere too — busy but still relaxed, with that classic French Quarter feel. Perfect little stop for coffee and people watching while walking around New Orleans.

Stopped here for breakfast. Coffee and Fruit Scone were very nice however, the Southern Breakfast was average. Service wasn't the best, especially as most places we've been in the US have provided good services. Seating while I appreciate is part of the look was very uncomfortable.

beignet was AMAZING. definitely lived up to the hype. coffee was not as great. my latte had a bunch of coffee dust at the bottom so either it was instant coffee or improperly brewed/filtered espresso grounds, neither of which are desirable of a proper cafe.

My family and I were visiting New Orleans and found this place, and it ended up being a great stop. The food was really good and the atmosphere had that authentic New Orleans feel. What really made the experience stand out though was our server, Will. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out right. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and that kind of service makes a big difference. If you come here, definitely ask for Will.

Loved the light, bright and airy ambiance with live music for lunch. Order at the counter. We ordered the muffaletta which was tasty with just the right amount of meat and olive salad. Also, had the crawfish etouffee without rice, it was chock full of crawfish in a thick, flavorful stew. The herb butter French bread served with it was the perfect accompaniment. We also shared an order of beignets, which were large, dense and delicious.
