Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Stopped at Whataburger today and went to the register to place my order. Literally stood there for 10 minutes waiting to place my order before my phone out and placing my order through the app. During those 10 minutes, multiple other people walked in and their orders were taken, while still not even acknowledging my existence. Eventually I got the attention of an employee in the back and asked about the status of my pickup order. Upon checking, I was told it would be awhile because they were working on the orders of the people that ordered before me (the same people that walked in after me but we're actually served at the register). After being at the restaurant a good 25 minutes, I finally received my order from the manager. At this point I informed the manager that they might want to talk to their register person because I was completely ignored for 10 minutes while other customers were helped. I then proceeded to ask if I could add a cup of ice to my order (at the point I finally received my order 25 minutes after arriving at the store) and they literally charged me $2 for a drink in order to get a cup of ice. The service at this location is all around unacceptable while the food was mediocre at best.

Absolutely rude server!! My husband stood at the counter for 10 minutes and was never helped. He finally had to ask the guy working in the back if he could get some help because for some strange reason the server refused to serve my husband but helped everyone else. I wonder why???? The food was just ok.

Absolutely absurd with the length of time it take for this wWhataburger to do anything. Ordered food through the App to pick up in the drive thru and sat in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes before just leaving without food. There were several cars that just drove away. This is amazing when traveling with a toddler thats hungry. I would highly recommend going anywhere but here. You can have a sit down meal for the length of time it take to get food here. This isnt the first time this location has taken an extreme length of time for an order. Please either hire more people or people that will do their job. This is pathetic.

Just a stop in on the way back from NOLA to Dallas. I was starving for WAB. Good experience in the drive thru.
