  They used old dough that didn’t rise while cooking. I made pizzas as a kid so I know this dough had to been sitting out for over an hr uncovered pre slapped out. Nobody wants hard half thin half risen pizza dough

  My wife and I decided to try the "revamped" Pizza Hut on Lamy. I have been a pizza hut consumer for 50 years+, so I was excited to be able to walk back into a hut, order, and sit down to eat since just about all of them were take out only. TOD: 11:30am, Sunday. We were the only patrons. We had to wait to order as there were only 2 people on staff. Ordered a large supreme, with 2 side salads. The salad choices were minimal, as compared to the "old" pizza hut. The dill pickles tasted funny. The pizza came out in a timely manner. There were no napkins, no plates ( except paper) and not steel silverware only plastic. Also no choice for a diet drink, except water...as that option was out of service. I also like an extra cup of warm marinara sauce to dip my pizza slice in... The lady at the counter gave me 2 small cups of cold marinara sauce. Our total cost was $37 w/ tip for 2 people. To say that the "old" nostalgic pizza hut is back to its old roots, I would be fibbing. We may order again, but it wont be inside.

  Quite frankly the best spot in Monroe! Great food and the staff is top tier! They run a tight ship and deserve praise for their ability to engage with customers and make sure you don’t have to need or want for anything. I’m unsure of their names but the managers at this location are what keep me coming back. They are the sweetest nicest most amazing people I’ve met personally and I have no notes because they check every box on the list that makes an amazing place to eat!
