Had a reservation was seated quickly. Waitress was very nice. We ordered an app. It came to the table in an appropriate amount of time ordered 2 steaks . The salads came fast, them waited almost 40 minutes for the rest of the food to come. When it did I had to call to the food runner because he was just walking around look for where our food went. The steaks were warm not hot and cut very thin . Neither were cook properly. Hrs under done mine over done. Did not say anything because we were more then ready to get out of there as it was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think.

I wanted to take pictures but the food was soooo goooood we didn’t even bother. Today was our first time ever eating there. Our waitress made the experience 10 out of 10!!! When we told her it was our first time there she made it her mission that we would be back. She broke down the meanu and explained what everything was and was very knowledgeable. Get the the seafood fondeaux!! Get the parmasean truffle fries!! We even remembered her name Carly!! She made the experience even 20 times better!!! I can promise you we will be going back!!

This was my first time at Saltgrass Steak House and my last. My food was absolutely horrible. The food wasn’t prepared fresh, it seems to have been cooked and reheated. The meat was over cooked and dry. I expressed my concerns to the waitress. She said I will let them know. I’m still waiting for a response. They say that I’m too soft and they’re correct in saying that about me. This has definitely been a lesson learned for me.

It was my first time here. We were seated immediately and it took about 5 minutes before we were greated by our waitress. The waitress was very nice and personable but lacked in service. This is the kind of place where you will not be served water unless asked. We ordered ice tea and she brought them along with the complimentary bread, which was nice. She returned to take our order and our food was delivered by servers pretty quickly. I paid the upcharge for the wedge salad. Don't, it was not worth it, and the house salad looked better. I ordered the prime rib, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. He got the ribs. Not a single item was hot or even close to warm. The asparagus were a little dry and woody. The potatoes were rustic lumpy with a hint of garlic that I wished wasnt there. The ribs were ordered with sweet potato fries which were also room temp. They would have been 5 stars if hot. The waitress came back a minute after the entrees were delivered to check if everything was delivered and ok. We hadnt actually gotten into it yet. Never saw her again until the bill. No water or ice tea refills the entire meal. We were "almost" done eating, but clearly had forks in hand, when she returned to the table with a very cheerful attitude thanking us for visiting and left the bill on the table. We both laughed since we had planned on dessert but I guess we saved our calories and money. The prime rib was ok for room temp. The au ju was just bouillon and a bit salty. The ribs were pretty good, fall off the bone meat. Prices are reasonable. Dont over expect and realize you get what you pay for and it is ok. However we both agreed it wasnt an experience that would bring us back.

I’m extremely disappointed in this location. For context, an individual at the table used to work at Saltgrass. We come here because we know the standards. It was not the standard. Period. We’ve been here twice, and the steaks were burnt. Twice. We came back for a birthday dinner tonight to try it again, and it was terrible. The steaks, the main part of the meal, were overcooked. For $125+, the steaks should be cooked properly. We’ve been to the Baton Rouge location several times, and it’s never been this bad. We were going to sign up for the Laundry's select club tonight until the service and the food. Do better.
