Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Employees don’t have a single thought behind their eyes and the simplest things on the menu take 15-30 minutes no matter what. This is yalls job and the only thing yall are going to be doing forever so just get it right the first time. 3 stars for a reason. :)

The staff was incredibly slow; there was no one else in line, yet they took a very long time to get our order ready.

I may just apply and come here to speed up the service because it’s not that hard. I’ve done fast food and all you have to do is keep an efficient pace on orders starting with your cook and so on and you can avoid these waits. Seriously, I can walk in right now and go behind the counter and make my order. What’s worse is my order was an online order and it said it be done by 11:26 am and now it’s 12:07 pm. Waiting.

They took their time and walked very slow yawned and stopped to check out a customer with a cool mustache. There is no hustle in this restaurant and they only can do one thing at a time after waiting so long I finally got my grilled chicken salad and I noticed the manager was making my meal and she didn’t even have enough common sense to put the fresh HOT grilled chicken separately so she put hot grilled chicken on my salad and wilted the lettuce and melted the cheese. This is by far one of the worst Whataburger I have ever went to in my life, and I am from Texas and have been to plenty!
