Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KKKaison3 days ago1.0Went there after work at 3am..NO CARS waiting but sat for 2 mins before i was acknowledged on the intercom. Waited 15 mins onxe to the window for a order . 3 piece tender with fries and a salad and NOTHING was fresh. Very disappointed. And the lady had the nerve to ask for a survey ! Smh poor service

- CCCookin CajunJul 8, 20261.0Slow, slow, slow… before ordering your breakfast, make sure to go ahead and order your lunch as well, because it’ll be lunch time by the time they bring out your food. Whataburger on University Avenue has to be the slowest place on earth. They make you pull up next to a garbage can to wait for your food (how appealing), then it takes them 4 trips around the sun to bring it out to you! If you have 6 hours to burn before an appointment, go place an order there first, you may make your appointment on time. Maybe. I seriously don’t think I’ll ever financially recover from the wait time I had there waiting on my breakfast to come out. Seriously though, with a bad hip, a heart condition, and a migraine, my grandma was still faster than them! Stick a bottle of molasses in the freezer for 3 years, turn it upside down and watch how slow it pours out of the bottle…. They are slower than that. Hope I’ve made my point clear.

Demequa was such a blessing and was so friendly and helpful with using rewards. Everyone in the restaurant was so friendly. I'd definitely recommend this Whataburger to everyone.
