- DKDusty K.3 days ago2.0Really not as good as the hype says. Ive always heard go to five guys, go to five guys, they have the best burgers. Yeah, i did get a lot of fries and a pretty decent sized burger, but it was 15 bucks for that and NO DRINK. There are no combos, no way to get slightly better value, and no justifiable reason to eat here. I spent ten dollars on a cheeseburger that no amount of free infinite toppings would have made taste better. The burger wasnt really seared well, or seasoned well, my grilled mushrooms tasted like dirt and turned to sludge when i chewed them, and their whole "we fry our fries in peanut oil so they taste so much better" gimmick is malarkey because i got a bunch of soggy, almost hot, barely salted garbage that i had to hawk down so i could justify to myself the money i spent on them. Its definitely food, and its definitely edible, but i was served a "best burger around" that would be eclipsed in taste by an Oldtimer with Chees at Chilis. Oh, and the oldtimer, with a specialty flavored sweet tea and fries, costs less money than just a burger and fries at five guys. Save your money and go to a different joint, Five Guys is mid. Had to edit my review because i had been told "theres complimentary peanuts" by at least 35 people and the only peanuts in sight were bags in the middle of the store being used as decoration. There were no complimentary peanuts.

- DCDakota CrochetJun 25, 20262.0Five Guys used to be one of my favorite burger places, but at this point they're simply pricing themselves out of business. The food is still good, but it's hard to justify paying these prices for what you get. At the end of the day, you're a burger restaurant - calm down with the prices. It's not that the quality is bad; I just don't think the value matches the cost anymore. Unless something changes, it'll probably be a long while before I come back.
