Authentic New Orleans Creole food without the tourist up charge and with a lot of local pride blended in!
Carlos’s recommendation of the eggplant, fresh shrimp with crab dressing between the layers was spot on delicious. Comes with house made French bread and a delicious sauce.
The platters of fried seafood being served at other tables looked mouth watering great. I was served fast even though surrounded by a friendly welcoming crowd. My only regret as a Louisiana gal is that there isn’t a satellite restaurant in Washington. Ten star worthy for taste and service served at a bargain price!

This is the first place I get my friends to go to when they're in town. Like the "locals-knowledge" spot. You won't find this place on a blogger's list of restaurants you have to go to in New Orleans, but you should. It's very cozy and feels like an old timey place that pre-dates the modern era minimalist and corporate designs. The food is great, and when you get a friend shrimp po'boy, you'll have enough overflow shrimp on your plate to take home and make a 2nd po'boy. And the crawfish étoufée is always a smash hit. Plus, they're one of the only restaurants out there that stocks red creme soda!

The waitress yelled at me across from another table to take my drink order. I thought that was very rude. The crawfish was ridiculously salty. I would not recommend the crawfish.

I went to all you can eat crawfish and it was delicious and amazing. Nicole was our server and she was the best. The servers are very attentive and are working very hard.

Server was great no complaints. Timely and nice and great. Were servers too so she was fire.
We got the all you can eat crawfish. My friend and I was confused to how everyone else was eating it up. The crawfish was overcooked. Had a weird taste. Not very seasoned. Meat was mushy, slimy, falling apart. Also not hot or even warm. I know it was busy so I get that part. But a lot of the crawfish was straight tailed. Very much dirty, like they hadn’t been washed properly. Probably the worst crawfish I’ve had possibly ever tbh. We tried a few plates hoping that the next one would be better but it wasn’t. Potatoes were cold and the corn tasted funny I think it might’ve been the oranges in the boil? Idk. Also my friend went to crack a tail and a snail fell out😭 I boil at home and worked at all you can eat crawfish restaurants and they’ve never tasted like that I’m sorry.
I don’t know if it was just today or somebody new on the pot but I’m sitting on the toilet as I’m writing this. You’ve been warned. We tried this place after reading many good reviews, so here’s our story.
