Ordered from August Moon for the first time. The food was tasty and the portion huge.

I took my 11 years old son and his 2 friends who are biracial brothers. We were seated at a booth next to the window with no other patrons in that area. Then an Asian family was seated behind us; another Asian group were seated at a larger table in the middle; and the last group were seated down from us near the middle table. All three groups were given water and the freebies of wonton chips. The waitress took about 30 minutes before she took our drink order. About 30 minutes later she brought the other 2 boys their rootbeer drinks and another 20 minutes before bringing me and my son hot tea. She didn't take our meal selections. Finally she came 25 minutes later to take our meal selections. About 30 minutes later, she brought out 1 of the boy's meal causing him and then us think that she brought out the meal for the boys who looks like he is white. He's mix race (black & white but looks predominantly white) The child said Ms. Michele she only brought out my food. I'm not going to eat, even though I'm hungry, until y'all food come out. The child waited about 35 minutes before she brought out his brother's food then 10 minutes when she brought out me and my son's food. This was my/our first time eating there and our experience was HORRIBLE! The waitress came across as racist, unprofessional and unkind. I will never eat there again! I really want to leave NO stars but the survey doesn't allow you to skip it without leaving no stars.
We had a very disappointing experience today...
We called at 7:00 PM to reserve a table for 8:00 PM. They said they will closed at 8:30pm so we did ask if its okay that we arrived at 8pm. They said yes but when arrived, they said they were no longer accepting customers because “the owner changed their mind.”
When we asked to speak with the owner for clarification, we were told that “the owner is having a party right now.” Not only was our reservation disregarded, but there was also no apology, explanation, or attempt to resolve the situation.
This level of professionalism and customer service is unacceptable. If a reservation cannot be honored, customers should be informed in advance rather than being turned away upon arrival.

I drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to eat here. I called at 7:00 PM, and the staff told me they would close at 8:30 PM. I specifically asked if it would be okay for me to arrive at 8:05 PM, and the employee said yes.
However, when I arrived, they told me they were no longer accepting customers. Even after I explained the situation, they still refused service. I was very disappointed, especially because no one even offered an apology for the inconvenience.
In these changing times of empathy and awareness, I really thought the days of piling and squishing sentient beings into a tiny aquarium, so we can oooh and ahhh over their pending torturous death…was over! Do that many people rEaLLy order LoBsTer? I hate your lobby!
